Today we decided to make the move for Ireland from her crib to the bottom bunk of the bunk beds we got for the girls several months ago. Isabelle has been sleeping on the top bunk since we got the bunk beds doing great up there. We've been going back and forth with when the "best" time might be to move Ireland out of her crib and into the bed and we decided that today was going to be the day! Our #1 reason being that we'd rather deal with any getting out of bed issues or getting up in the middle of the night issues b/c of being in a new bed BEFORE the new baby comes and deal with one or two kids up rather than 3 children up in the middle of the night! Reason #2 being that Ben changed ireland's green and pink stripe room to Isaac's green and blue striped room today! (Looking good and will post pics when completed)
Had a good appt today at the dr. The ultrasound measured Isaac to be 2 weeks ahead of schedule in growth. He weighs around 5lb 10oz according to the ultrasound. And he has done a flip and so he's head down! Praise! The dr also decided to put me on a low dose of medicine to help with my contractions which we're glad about. Praying that little Isaac will stay in until at least 36 weeks 37 or 38 weeks would be even better!
We took the girls last week to picture people to get their 4yr old and 2 yr old pictures taken. They haven't had proffesional shots since last year when they turned 3yrs and 1yr so it was time! We were so glad they turned out so well. We had a rough start with Ireland being scared of the camera and the camera guy but after a switch to a lady she warmed up and we got some good ones! We praise the Lord for two healthy little girls that God has blessed us with and look forward to being blessed with a little boy soon!
The girls are eachother's best friends and worst enemies at times (as with all siblings I guess!). Ireland loves her sister "Ibee" as she calls her and usually is found following her around or doing whatever "Ibee" is having her do! Isabelle loves Ireland and thinks she should play exactly the way she wants her to play. Isabelle will ask is she can go into Ireland's room when she hears her up in the morning or up from nap and will run in there and entertain her for a while. We enjoy hearing many giggles and high-pitched screaming (all in fun of course!!) at our house these days.
The girls love to run around the house in dress up clothes and wear princess shoes. Ireland is esp all about shoes!! Soon the two girls will be sharing a room as their baby brother comes along. Isabelle is already enjoying sleeping on the top bunk of their bed and Ireland will soon make the move from crib to bottom bunk. We'll let you know how that goes!!! :)
