Today we decided to make the move for Ireland from her crib to the bottom bunk of the bunk beds we got for the girls several months ago. Isabelle has been sleeping on the top bunk since we got the bunk beds doing great up there. We've been going back and forth with when the "best" time might be to move Ireland out of her crib and into the bed and we decided that today was going to be the day! Our #1 reason being that we'd rather deal with any getting out of bed issues or getting up in the middle of the night issues b/c of being in a new bed BEFORE the new baby comes and deal with one or two kids up rather than 3 children up in the middle of the night! Reason #2 being that Ben changed ireland's green and pink stripe room to Isaac's green and blue striped room today! (Looking good and will post pics when completed)

Thankfully so far the move to the bed is going great!! Ireland went to bed like a dream in her crib so we were hoping the same would be true in the new bed and room. When we put her dowm for her nap today she had no problems. She layed right down (still with her paci and several cloths) and only had to be told one time to lay back down and she was out! (Side note: We were going to get rid of the paci a couple months ago but haven't had the heart to take it from her yet. She only has it at nap and bed, spits it out right away, she loves it, and don't see much harm in it right now. Will be gone by 2.5 years old though!) Tonight we put Ireland to bed first and let her fall asleep, didn't take long, and then slipped Isabelle in there to go to sleep too. The first night has gone well so far. Both went right to sleep without any trouble. Hoping for a good night too! I was a bit sad to move Ireland out of her crib but it makes things better when she did so well with the transition so far.
