Isabelle turned 3 on Sept. 4 and she had a fun little birthday. When she got up she enjoyed opening her gift from her Grandpa and Grammie and running around the house with her new princess backpack. For lunch she was taken out for a Happy Meal with someone special ("Grandma" Pat from church). Then she got to go to the dollar store with her to pick out a special birthday toy! She really enjoyed her time away all by herself I think! For dinner we went to her little friend Callie's house and had a double bday party. Callie was born on the same day as Isabelle, at the same hospital, in the same room, with the same nurse, (with different sheets)!!! Callie was born several hours after Isabelle and they are little buddies so we decided to have a party together for the girls. They loved it and couldn't wait to eat the cake!! It was a fun time had by all!!



Isabelle went for her 3 year check up on Monday. She checked out very healthy and completely caught up after being born at 26 weeks. Isabelle weighs 25.5 lbs, is 36 inches tall. She's at the 10th % for her weight and the 43rd % for her height. I guess we grow some lightweights around here. (Ireland was weighed too and has finally started gaining again and weighs 16.6 lbs.)

We rejoice at how God has blessed us with Isabelle Grace and what a delight she is to have. Isabelle loves to pretend, swing on swings, play with baby dolls, color and paint, and sing/play with her cd player. Many fun times ahead with this ever growing and changing 3 year old! We love you Isabelle!!!
