What a wonderful thanksgiving we had today with lots of family fun. We are in Indiana with the Ice side of the family, thanksgiving for us is the BIG Ice get-together time. It is so great to be able to have fun with all the cousins and brother & sisters.

Mom Ice and others worked hard the past couple days getting all of the dinner together and we sat down to enjoy the FEAST today around 2:30p.m. A little later we spent some time reading some Bible verses, singing, and sharing testimonies of praise to the Lord. This is always such a refreshing time as we each take a moment to share how God has blessed and taught us things this year.

This morning I read from Psalm 100 in my quiet time. It was a good reminder to me that God says "we are HIS people and the sheep of His pasture." As I thought on that verse God impressed upon me that fact that no matter what happens in our life God cares and loves me and wants the best for me as a shepherd does for his sheep. And because of this we can always "enter into His gates with THANKSGIVING; and into His courts with PRAISE!" God is good all the time and I am thankful for His blessings upon us!
