Lately I’ve been thinking about where we were with Isabelle just one year ago. Wow, as I took a look back at these entries I was again hit with the fact that God was totally in control of her little life when everything in our once “regular” life had been turned upside down. Praise God that though we go through the valley at times He is always faithful to bring us through it!

Isabelle will be eating 6.2 ccs of her mother's milk as of 12:01 AM tonight! And if all goes well, her pick-line on her left arm will come out (that's the line that goes up the inside of her arm into her chest's larger artery to feed her fluids). Praise the Lord she is feeding better (and going number 2:). We are praying she will get fattened up. Right now she is 2.4 pounds.
She is still fighting that infection which is affecting her breathing. Those rascally DESATs are still happening, which are the fluctuations in her blood's oxygen level. Once she fights this infection off and controls her DESATs, she can get off of the ventilator and be back on the CPAP (which is a breathing machine that give her air through her nose). We pray this will be soon.

Isabelle had a pretty good day today on her ventilator. Her oxygen level still decreases some. Please pray she will be able to keep her oxygen level up on her own and her brain will mature so she can remember to breath. Then hopefully she can get off her ventilator.
She is still fighting the infection but she is getting better. Continue to pray for this.
The Lord has been teaching me that His way is best and that He has a perfect plan in this situation. Ps.145:9 says "The Lord is good to all and His tender mercies are over all His works." Even in this the Lord has been good to us and our little Isabelle.

Isabelle had another pretty good day. Here are some specific things to pray about...1.For her lungs to mature more. 2.For her oxygen levels to stay at the right level. 3.For her to be able to come off the vent. soon and stay off.
Praise that Isabelle will be on full feeds (meaning no extra fluids) only mommy's milk at midnight tonight. She also gained another ounce and is weighing in at 2.55lbs.
God's grace is sufficient
